Forum Title: Finishing a serged edge
Jim, I found this site looking for info on how to finish an edge once I have serged it, what works best? rounding, gluing? I'm new to serging, so any help would be extremely valuable. Thanks

Daris knows serging and binding, he could be napin.

I hate serging. But if I was doing it I would not go around corners. I go go past the corner and lock my excess thread down under and then start again. I do that with binding and it works well for me. A friend who did serging made himself a loop for pulling the excess at the corners back under itself. Took a piece of wire and bent it so the ends were even and made a handle out of duct tape. Small enough to fit in under the thread and hooked the excess and pulled it through on the backside Daris
